About PLAJ

The idea of PLAJ started in 2014. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, for her husband expatriation, brand owner fashionista Sevim, had the idea to transform the notorious Turkish Peshtemals into Kaftans but with a local twist by adding local  Silk.

The creations, in limited numbers, were designed in Vietnam aiming initially to the guests of Beach resorts or Concept Stores in Vietnam such as Four Seasons, Six Senses and L'Usine. 

After the success of the Kaftan collections, thanks to the requests of her loyal customers, PLAJ has added additional products like hand knitted clutch bags and is now extending globally through  a dedicated website Plajsaigon.com.
